CPI Security Salesforce Solution Architect in Charlotte, North Carolina

Overview

We are seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect to help us transform the value and experience that Salesforce is currently bringing to our customers and employees. This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity to be the lead Salesforce engineer on the team while we implement many new clouds such as Service, Field Service, Marketing, CPQ and Communities. The ideal person will have extensive experience designing, building and implementing enterprise features in Salesforce. They will be instrumental in helping guide our Salesforce strategy, building our most challenging end to end solutions, and implementing integration and development frameworks to provide enablement, adoption, and technical expertise which accelerate our business.This is a “hands on” role that will require visits to the corporate office as needed or requested.

This position will be 100% onsite in our corporate office in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the senior engineer for our growing Salesforce platform. You will be instrumental in implementing solutions through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including understanding our business processes, identifying opportunities to provide solutions to key gaps, architecting, designing and configuring changes, building custom code and integrations, unit testing, conducting code reviews, and change management (we’re looking to this role to push Salesforce changes into Azure DevOps for automatic build pipelines).

  • Be an instrumental team player in the optimization and enhancements of the Sales Cloud, and helping implement CPQ, Service Cloud, Field Service and Communities.

  • Develop and maintain custom data entry, reports, dashboards, validation rules, and workflow automation

  • Act as a Salesforce subject matter expert for CPI, meet with business and IT teams to solve problems through the salesforce platform.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving the contact center, field operations, marketing, and sales.

  • Stay current with technological developments within the Salesforce platform, monitoring and planning for the organization to utilize new release functionality as it becomes available.

  • Promote, and lead by example, a DevOps culture where the team is expected and empowered to own each aspect of the development, promotion, and operation of their code.

  • Influence business and technology leaders on creating and promoting change for improving existing business processes, increasing ROI and overall effectiveness using Salesforce and its plugins.

  • Develop and execute Salesforce data management strategy.

  • Evaluate and install Salesforce AppExchange components and solutions.

  • Be able to integrate Salesforce to third party and custom applications through APIs and database connections.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Salesforce experience, integrating, configuring and writing custom apex code.

  • Salesforce certifications as an Advanced Administrator and Platform Developer. An architect track certification is desired.

  • Experience in building complex Salesforce solution designs and reviewing/enhancing solution designs from other SFDC delivery teammates; including a working knowledge of:

  • Salesforce platform limits

  • Order of execution

  • Data storage impacts

  • Sharing and visibility

  • Experience with these Salesforce solutions are strongly desired:

  • CPQ, Field Service, Service, Communities, Sales, Digital Engagement

  • Experience in bringing Salesforce solutions from design to implementation.

  • Deep configuration experience with process builder and flows.

  • Experience in DML and SOQL

  • Experience working with Salesforce sales and service clouds in Lightning.

  • Experience integrating Salesforce with custom applications and contact center platforms, data warehouses and other enterprise primary platforms

  • Experience with authentication strategies between Salesforce and external systems

  • Experience with Salesforce Maps, HubSpot and DbAmp is preferred, but not required

  • Experience with SQL to Salesforce integrations and data patterns

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study preferred or work experience equivalent

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively deliver messages to a wide range of audiences - from executive to technical

  • Innovative and positive team member mindset

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver results working independently or in a collaborative environment (agile experience preferred)
